Why do I need a financial plan?
A typical person may spend 25% to 30% of their life in retirement. This means they have to manage their investments and withdrawals wisely or face the risk of running out of money before they run out of life—not a pretty picture. A financial plan acts as road map for a person’s financial future. This road map helps a person understand how to invest and how much to save in order to reach their financial goals and objectives.
Why do I need someone to manage my investments?
People are time constrained and cannot put in the necessary effort to maintain a globally diversified portfolio. Often investment accounts (including 401ks and IRAs) are scattered throughout many brokerages, banks, employers, etc. No consolidated reporting is provided and therefore the person does not have an accurate picture of their total portfolio. A managed account has the advantages of consolidated reporting, consistent asset allocation, periodic re-balancing and utilization of low cost index based investments.
Do you take possession of my funds?
No. All client funds are maintained by Charles Schwab Institutional. Clients have complete access to their funds and investments at all times.

No. Our minimum quarterly charge is $1,000.

No. Trades can only placed with the client's express consent.
